Summary

A police sergeant is ordered to stop his investigation of a corrupt cop's apparent suicide. Driven to unravel the mystery, he continues probing until an explosion that was meant for him kills his wife. He resigns from the force and soon learns that behind it all is a powerful criminal underworld led by a ruthless kingpin.
