Summary

DOCTORS follows five doctors, two nurses, a practice-manager and a receptionist in an inner-city doctors' surgery. The two partners, Dr Brendan McGuire (Mac) and Dr Helen Thompson, head a team of medics and support staff who, despite mishaps and obstacles, love their work - or sometimes love to hate it. From impatient businessmen to the homeless, the series touches upon all members of the community, exploring the lives of the patients and staff in contemporary, dramatic and emotional stories.
