Her writing on 19th- and 20th-century literature, gender, sexuality, and popular culture has appeared in numerous journals, including Literature, American Literary History, and Criticism. She received the University of Wyoming College of Arts and Sciences’ awards for Extraordinary Merit in Teaching and Extraordinary Merit in Research.
