Summary
Li Xing, a fourteen-year-old teenager, lives in the Great Phuket district in South China, a setting of ruins and reconstruction. He doesn’t get along well with his mother who refuses to leave the family house planned for destruction, and the middle school where he studies brings him nothing but problems.
