Summary
In the blink of an eye, Rebecca Loft (Elizabeth Perkins) has becomes a widow. She's not alone for long, however, when her eccentric friend Sylvie (Whoopi Goldberg), younger sister Lucy (Gwyneth Paltrow) and ex-stepmother Alberta (Kathleen Turner) move in with a lot of baggage…emotional and literal.
