Summary

Set in 15th-century Paris, this dramatic adaptation of Victor Hugo’s classic novel follows Quasimodo (Charles Laughton), the disfigured but gentle bell-ringer of Notre Dame Cathedral. Living in the shadows, Quasimodo is captivated by the beautiful and kind-hearted gypsy Esmeralda (Maureen O’Hara), who shows him compassion for the first time.
