Salt and Fire

Summary

In this 2016 eco-thriller directed by Werner Herzog, a scientist, Laura (Veronica Ferres), is kidnapped by a mysterious corporate figure, Matt Riley (Michael Shannon), while investigating an environmental disaster in South America. As tensions rise between them, a looming natural catastrophe threatens their survival. Laura soon discovers that their conflict might be part of a much larger plan.
