Summary
My name is Donnie Jackson, writer of Poetic Love Letters & More. I was born in Jamaica to Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Jackson. I'm the third of seven children, five sisters and one brother. I migrated to New Jersey, in the United States, in July 1974, where I still live with my wife and family. I started writing song lyrics in the early eighties, and I also, wrote a couple of poems; "Life" and "It's Not Funny". But, it wasn't until around 2006 when I started writing more and more, poems on a regular basis. I enjoy writing these poems. I hope you enjoy reading them, as much as I enjoy writing them. Poetic Love letters & More is a collection of poems that are likely to touch you in some way. They are, based on life's situations. They are, taken from talking with friends, most of whom I met online. The poems display a lot of emotions, which takes you from happy to sad, and all points between. They touches on issues such as gay marriages, teenage age pregnancy, love, heartache, heartbreak and more.
