Summary
It is summertime again and the nine cousins are looking forward to spending their annual two weeks vacation with their grandmother Lizie who lives on the coast at a place called Gundaga. Barnabus Winkle, an old sea captain and good friend to Lizie gives the children an old row boat to do up which proves to be very valuable indeed! Hoping to have some adventures by keeping busy outside they didnt think that a local bank robbery would come about to affect their lives. From Makenzie and Camden finding the secret scrolled message on the beach to the older ones braving a dark smelley bat infested cave on Gundaga Island to find the stolen money. But with the thieves in hot persuit, will they accomplish that? Will they be harmed in any way? Can they get back to the safety of the mainland in time without stranded out on the island?...........................
