While attending a writers conference in Taos, NM, Patty decided to write These Stolen Flowers as a two-part poetry book, describing the difficult experiences of rape victimization that includes a self-help section on rape avoidance, with space for writing-in one's own stories, as an aid in overcoming rape issues.
