As usual we have received many wonderful donations this week. I will share a few of them with you with the hopes of encouraging you to come visit us. We received The Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire by Gibbons, in seven volumes. It is an impressive looking set quarter-bound in leather with decorative gold lettering on the spine. We also received six of The Great Courses by the Teaching Company. All six are lectures on CD. The titles are:
- Albert Einstein: Physicist, Philosopher, Humanitarian
- After the New Testament
- Biological Anthropology: An Evolutionary Perspective
- Interpreting the 20th Century: The Struggle Over Democracy
- The Italians before Italy: Conflict and Competition in the Mediterranean
- War and World History
Finally, we have a very nice selection of craft books, including a good size selection of needlework and decorative painting books. The needlework categories include blackwork, thread painting, ribbon embroidery, Scandinavian, Celtic, and Medieval embroidery, and much more.
