Reliable Online Resources

Library databases contain information from published works, such as magazine and newspaper articles, encyclopedias and other reference books. Because the information in the databases comes from published works that are fact-checked and often written by professionals or experts, the databases are a reliable way to research for school projects, consumer information or any other informational needs.

KPL buys subscriptions to these databases allowing our patrons access. Some of these databases allow you to access the information from outside of the library while others are restricted to use within the library only; look for the Remote Access designation to know which allow outside access.
