Free Tax Preparation in Kalamazoo County
- VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance) – IRS-certified volunteers prepare tax returns for free, for households with incomes of $67,000 or less in 2024. Dial 2-1-1 January 2025 to make appt. VITA Tax Prep Services page lists a few options to access free tax preparation online.

- AARP Foundation Tax-Aide – Free tax preparation and filing services to anyone in need, focusing on taxpayers age 50+, with low-to-moderate income, and individuals with disabilities. All Tax-Aide volunteers are trained and certified by IRS. Webpage has list of what to bring, how to volunteer, and more. By appointment only.
