CANCELED: Until We Are Free – Film Screening and Discussion

Wed, September 20 @ 5:00 pm7:00 pm

Until We Are Free Film Screening and Discussion in partnership with PeaceJam

We apologize but this event has been canceled. We hope to reschedule for a future date.

We are pleased to partner with Great Lakes Peace Jam to host a screening of Until We Are Free, the story of Nobel Laureate Shirin Ebadi, the first Muslim woman to receive the Nobel Peace Prize. Recognized for her work as a human rights lawyer defending women and children against a brutal regime in Iran, hers is a story of courage and defiance in the face of a government out to destroy her, her family, and her mission to bring justice to the people and the country she loves.
