"Tough Topics, Engagement for Teens, Peace During War"

KPL is proud to announce our new partnership with Peace During War, a local nonprofit run by Michael Wilder and Yafinceio Harris, long-time Kalamazoo residents. This intrepid organization aims to reduce gun-related violence by building community, specifically by reaching at-risk youths. Their stories are powerful and poignant. As part of the Tough Topics engagement series, we have invited PDW members to KPL locations for conversation and community-building. Refreshments and food provided at each event. Teens aged 11-18 are invited to come and hear these incredible men and women tell their stories about the life, ask questions, and make connections that could last a lifetime. No registration necessary. For grades 6th-12th only.
