Self-Care Series: Yin and Restorative Yoga

Tuesday, September 24 @ 4:00 pm6:00 pm

Registration Required

Specifically for nonprofit employees, service providers, or helping professionals.  We will explore how the practice of Trauma Center Trauma Sensitive Yoga (“TCTSY”) can help relieve physical and emotional tension in the body through movement supported by the principles of interoception, invitational language, non-coercion, and a shared authentic experience. Join us to learn more, rest, and restore.

This accessible workshop is intended for any experience level, beginners are welcome. The workshop will begin with an opportunity to connect and check-in with each other before we transition into the practice. During the session, participants are welcome to ask questions to explore the practice. Please contact ONEplace@kpl.gov if you have any questions.

The Self-Care Series is presented in partnership with the Kalamazoo/Battle Creek Resiliency Project to combat burnout in the nonprofit sector by providing access to trauma-informed yoga and meditation.
