Science Action Club: Bird Scouts
Thu, April 27 @ 4:30 pm–5:30 pm
Join us for a 6-week session of KPL’s Science Action Club for 2nd – 5th graders! Please register and plan to attend all 6 sessions. Bird Scouts explores feathers, flight, and the features that make birds unique. Using tools and technology, youth identify local species and investigate environmental changes that impact bird behavior. The checklists youth submit to eBird—a citizen science project from the Cornell Lab of Ornithology—help scientists track changes in bird distribution and abundance across the globe. We’ll be inside and outside (weather permitting). All supplies provided. Please register.
Registration for this event is closed.
