Dr. Kia Darling-Hammond, is author of the Bridge to Thriving Framework© and The Civil Rights Road to Deeper Learning: Five Essentials for Equity (TC Press, 2022). As CEO of Wise Chipmunk LLC, an education and research firm, she leverages over 25 years of work in education, research, and leadership to offer learning opportunities and advising to students, educators, organizations, and other entities including the Congressional Black Mental Health Brain Trust and the Congressional Black Caucus’ Suicide Prevention Taskforce whose work advanced the Pursuing Equity in Mental Health Act.  

Dr. Kia speaks widely, has published in academic and popular press, and mentors a beautiful community of students and professionals nationwide. You can follow her on LinkedIn (@kiadarling).
