Mobile Library–Justice Against Bullying @ School’s Retreat 4 Resilient Justice

October is National Bullying Prevention Month and Justice Against Bullying @ School (JABS), the anti-bullying initiative powered by HOPE, together with community partners invite YOUTH & Community to the 2nd youth-focused, 3-day Retreat for Resilient Justice (R4RJ). The Retreat – “Empowering Youth Impacted by Social Justice Inequities”, will be held at Pretty Lake Camp and is free for youth and open to the public. The Retreat is intentionally targeted to support youth, their families, and the community impacted by bullying, cyberbullying, and/or gun/group violence. The overarching goal is to:
- Unplug from Distractions & Plug into You
- Heal Trauma
- Engage and Empower Youth/Families/Community directly impacted by bullying/cyberbullying and gun violence
- Amplify voices and advocate for social justice issues they are passionate about

All Kalamazoo Public Library events are free and open to the public unless otherwise indicated in the event description. A library card is not required to attend.
