Mental health and well-being is a top concern for many types of organizations working to improve people’s lives. This 2-hour online workshop will help participants begin to analyze community mental health needs at a deeper level, with an emphasis on understanding systemic oppression and its impacts in the context of mental health. Topics include the origins of mental health disparities, inequities in the mental health care system itself, barriers to equitable community outcomes, and some basic strategies that organizations can apply to best support the mental and emotional well-being of community members.Presented by Amy Galick, Integrated Services of Kalamazoo
