Meet Michigan Author Julie Buchholtz

Join us for refreshments and an author talk in celebration of Julie Buchholtz’s debut picture book Who Am I? Julie is a Michigan educator and author who resides in the Upper Peninsula. Her inaugural book, Who Am I? was selected as the grand prize winner in Michigan publisher Cherry Lake Publishing’s Own Voices/Own Stories Contest. Julie is a proud member of the Bay Mills Indian Tribe, a federally recognized tribe comprised of Ojibwe people that is located in the U.P. Families will have a chance to meet Julie, listen to a reading of the book, enjoy some snacks, and create an art project together. Copies of the book will be available for purchase and all families will be entered in a drawing to win a gift copy from KPL.
