Join us at the Oshtemo Branch to hear from award-winning children’s book author Kelly J. Baptist.  We’ll hear about Kelly’s story, followed by a period for discussion and questions.  Her short story, The Beans and Rice Chronicles of Isaiah Dunn, won the We Need Diverse Books short story contest and was included in the anthology Flying Lessons and Other Stories.  In 2020, she released her debut chapter book, Isaiah Dunn is My Hero, and a picture book, The Electric Slide and Kai.  Her newest book, Eb and Flow, will be released in March 2023.  Kelly is based in Southwest Michigan.  Connect with her before the event at kellyiswrite.com
