Juneteenth Celebration 2021: Black Arts and Cultural Center Promotes Minority Owned Business
Sat, June 19, 2021 @ 12:30 pm–1:30 pm

Black and other minority-owned businesses have been on the rise in the last five years. In 2020, African Americans owned 124,551 businesses in the United States, with the state of Michigan reporting to have 2,884 Black-owned businesses.
Black Arts and Cultural Center of Kalamazoo will be providing a platform for minority-owned businesses in Kalamazoo area to promote their goods and services by creating a video compilation of their merchandise.
Kalamazoo Public Library will celebrate these local business owners by posting the videos created by BACC on Juneteenth, 6/19, at 12:30 PM to our KPL TV channel.
If you are interested in submitting a video and/or merchandise for promotion, please contact Dani at BACC: [email protected]. Submissions will be considered through June 10, 2021.
