Intro to Cultural Humility
Wednesday, September 4 @ 9:15 am–11:45 am
Do you want to be inclusive or intentional? Being inclusive is welcoming all, being intentional is being humble to other cultures, folx and perspectives. Being intentional means you humbly respect others values while still cultivating your own. As humans evolve so do the cultures we live and intersect in. This workshop is interactive and designed for folx who want to expand their perspectives and maybe even pop their bubble.
In this workshop you will gain these insights:
- Knowing the difference between radical self-care and radical community care
- Learn basics to clear your ancestral trauma
- Understanding intersections based on life perspective
- Unpacking bias and embracing duality
Presented by: Kama Mitchell, Executive Director of Rootead.
