Grants! For Artists and Arts Organizations- Powell/Douglass
Tue, November 19 @ 4:30 pm–6:30 pm
Are you an individual artist or an arts organization looking for opportunities to fund a project or professional development opportunity? The Arts Council is here to help!
The Arts Council of Greater Kalamazoo in conjunction with ONEplace will be conducting grant workshops designed to illuminate the various grant programs housed at the Arts Council of Greater Kalamazoo as well as funding opportunities through the State of Michigan. Additionally, we want to be able to give you some tips and tricks to ensure a well-crafted and compelling grant request, techniques for framing your budget, and what information is valuable to us when you are reporting back about your projects.
This workshop is great for first-time grant applicants but will be helpful and informative to seasoned applicants as well.
Join us at one of these locations to get the inside scoop!
This workshop will be led by Kristen Chesak, Executive Director of the Arts Council of Greater Kalamazoo.
This workshop will be hosted at the Douglass Community Center.
