Fri, February 3 @ 5:00 pm7:00 pm

" A picture of Eastwood Branch exterior saying Eastwood's Eastside 113th Anniversary Celebration"

The Eastwood Branch will celebrate 113th birthday of the Eastside/Eastwood Branch of the library. The first branch was opened in the Eastside Elementary School on February 10, 1910. We will have a party on Friday, February 3 to celebrate. There will be music, refreshments, crafts and fun for the kids and special guests to talk about Eastwood’s history. We will pay a special tribute Mrs. Gwendolyn Tulk, who recently passed away at 105, and was one of the Eastside’s oldest living residents. Mrs. Tulk was the first Eastside school librarian and a dedicated Eastside mentor.

Music, refreshments, and guest speakers.
