Civilization is impossible without traditions, and progress impossible without the destruction of those traditions.” — Gustave Le BonJoin ONEplace for a facilitated discussion with Trice Batson, Director of Diversity and Inclusion at Kalamazoo Valley Community College. Trice will share thoughts on diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives as well as Anti-Racism in Institutions and cause us to ask if our efforts are evidenced as commitment or counterfeit. We will discuss what it looks like for BIPOC folks to navigate racism baked into nonprofit traditions.ONEplace will email you the zoom link the day before the session.
