Black Disability History
Tue, October 25, 2022 @ 2:00 pm–3:30 pm
Registration Required
Black disabled Americans have made key contributions to advancing civil rights for both people of color and people with disabilities, yet their impact on the Disability Rights Movement and lived experiences of disability are often overlooked. In this presentation, we will take a closer look at the stories and accomplishments of Black disable people who have helped shape the disability community and our society.
ONEplace will email you a link to access the workshop the day before the training. Contact [email protected] if you have any questions.
Presenters: Miranda Grunwell, Leatrice Fullerton, and Tyler Urias, Zoom Chat reader Tyler Urias
