Art Hop – Artists in Action
Fri, December 6 @ 6:00 pm–8:00 pm
Come celebrate the beautiful art made during our five Artists in Action events to celebrate the Kalamazoo Institute of Arts Black Refractions: Highlights from The Studio in Harlem exhibit. The Artist in Action event series featured artists Darien Burress, James Palmore, Tanisha Pyron, Al Harris, and Audrey Mills. Each local artist spent a week in a KPL location creating art and interacting with patrons. The result was not only amazing art, but also an enriching experience for library patrons.
Meet the artists and hear about their work. Refreshments provided.
All Kalamazoo Public Library events are free and open to the public unless otherwise indicated in the event description. A library card is not required to attend.
