DESCRIPTION:Nonprofits deal with social issues and community needs and can find themselves in the challenging middle ground between service and advocacy. When politics impact a nonprofits ability to meet its mission\, how can organizations use their voices? \nParticipants will leave with increased confidence in decision making about advocacy or lobbying activities they might take on alone or in partnership with other organizations; increased confidence in knowing their organization is compliant and can stay that way; positive experience connecting with peers. \nThis event will be held in person and ONEplace will send the location in a calendar invite at least one day before the event. We will send a reminder and please add this to your calendar.
