60th Anniversary Martin Luther King “I Have a Dream” speech
Mon, January 9, 2023 @ 6:00 pm–7:00 pm
It is the 60th anniversary of Dr. Martin Luther King’s “I Have a Dream” speech, and we will ask ourselves where we are as a community today. “Is Dr. King’s Dream Deferred?”
This interactive event will consist of a Powerpoint, conversation, group writing prompts, and exercises to access and analyze where we are today and what healing needs to take place to reach Dr. King’s dream. And a discussion on whether the vision needs reimagining.
