Summary

In June 1941, the war is not going well for England. Somehow, the Germans are anticipating the RAF's flight paths and shooting down British bombers with impunity. Hermia Mount, an MI6 intelligence analyst, wonders whether the Germans have perfected a radar system like the one the British are struggling to achieve. Meanwhile, on a German-occupied Danish island, eighteen-year-old Harald Olufsen encounters an astonishing sight, and knows he must tell someone. And in Copenhagen, police detective Peter Flemming has an idea about who is smuggling information under the noses of the Germans. As their lives intertwine, Harald must deliver the truth to England - with only a derelict old Hornet Moth biplane for transportation.
