Summary
In the 1970s and '80s, Tammy Faye Bakker and her husband, Jim, rose from humble beginnings to create the world's largest religious broadcasting network. They were known for their messages of love, acceptance and prosperity, as well as Tammy Faye's indelible eyelashes and idiosyncratic singing. But before long, financial improprieties, rivals, and scandal toppled their empire.
