Summary
Cameron is sent to a gay conversion therapy center after getting caught with another girl. Run by the strict and severe Dr. Lydia Marsh and her brother, Reverend Rick--himself an example of how those in the program can be "cured." At the facilities, Cameron is subjected to outlandish discipline, dubious "de-gaying" methods, and earnest Christian rock songs--but in this unusual setting, Cameron connects with peers and she's able to find her place among fellow outcasts; the amputee stoner Jane, and her friend, the Lakota Two-Spirit, Adam. Together, this group of teenagers forms an unlikely family as they fight to survive.
