Summary

PATERNO is a portrait of Penn State's longtime head football coach, Joe Paterno, as he is embroiled in the infamous Jerry Sandusky sexual abuse scandal. In November 2011, six days after becoming the winningest football coach in NCAA college history, Paterno's legacy is challenged over the course of one explosive week as he is forced to face questions of institutional failure in regard to Sandusky's young victims.
