Summary

Luke Jordan grew up on a farm in central Minnesota where he spent much of his childhood running around outdoors. His favorite and most inspirational place to visit was the North Shore of Lake Superior. He was awe-struck by the beauty of the region, and soon started venturing out on his own. During his college years, he began backpacking and volunteering for trail organizations. After graduating with a natural resources degree, with his college years behind him, he was ready to strap on his pack and attempt a grand adventure over the North Country National Scenic Trail. He succeeded, and became the fourth person to successfully thru-hike the trail. Known on the trail as Strider, he continues to share his story and inspire others to get out and hit the trail on their own adventures.
