Summary

The second season of The Newsroom focuses on the dramatic events of 2011-2012 as the Atlantis Cable News Network (ACN) deals with its own internal crisis: a former producer alleged to have doctored a report about a military extraction involving sarin gas is suing for wrongful termination. Meanwhile, the network's staff and management try to overcome personal and professional complications as a momentous and historic election approaches.
