Summary

Two complete novels. Wildfire: When wild and free-spirited horse rider Lucy Bostil finds Lin Slone knocked out cold by his unruly colt in the woods, she doesn't know what to think. As the two get to know each other while Lin recovers, he convinces Lucy to ride the colt--Wildfire--in an upcoming race. Their relationship blossoms, but they are threatened by the villainous Cordts gang, who will stop at nothing to ensure that their horse, Sage King, is the one to win. The heritage of the desert: John Hare lies dying in the desert until he is saved by rancher August Naab. As Hare is nursed back to health on Naab's ranch, he finds himself irresistibly attracted to Naab's adopted daughter, Mescal. But she is relentlessly pursued by Holderness, a man who is not to be trusted. Striving to capture the heart of this beautiful woman, Hare finds himself drawn into a web of adventure and intrigue over land and water, all set against the sweeping backdrop of the Wild West.
