Summary

It's hard not to like Tracy Orbison. An introspective Midwestern stockboy, Tracy passes his days scribbling poems in a notebook during shift breaks and day-dreaming of making something more of himself-- although there is already quite a bit of him. In a moment of enlightenment, he enrolls in an acting class taught by a pompous local actor. Things dont quite go according to plan, and a tragically comical chain of mishaps leads Tracy to take a more active role in his life. He mentors a young delinquent, fends off his obnoxious mother and wallflower sister, and attempts to conquer the elusive drivers exam.
