Summary

Karol Karol is a Polish immigrant living in France. The hapless hairdresser opts to leave Paris for his native Warsaw when his wife sues him for divorce (her reason: the marriage was never consummated) and then frames him for arson after setting her own salon ablaze. Karol then concocts an elaborate revenge plot. The second of a trilogy by Krzysztof Kieslowski, preceeded by Blue and followed by Red.

Originally produced as a motion picture in 1993.
