Summary
The powerful true story of a reporter who corrects a miscarriage of justice. Eleven years after Frank Wiecek is sent to jail for murdering a police officer, his mother runs an ad offering a $5,000 reward for information about the real killer. A newspaper reporter is assigned to investigate the case, and soon gathers evidence which leads him to believe Wiecek is innocent. With the backing of the newspaper's editor, the reporter convinces the governor to hold a hearing on the condition that if he proves Wiecek was wrongly convicted, he'll be set free.
