Summary
Major Connor MacLeod (Ret.) "inherited" a method of passing from one dimension to another, and found himself in a medieval land called Meshech, that is not far out of the Dark Ages. He is suddenly immersed in an ancient squabble between different tribes and continents. Now, just six years after "arriving", he is conceivably the wealthiest man alive, master of numerous demesnes, farmer, industrialist and merchant - and soon to be the father of thirteen children, from a number of women, from Countess to Innkeeper. Despite his obvious success, he is risking it all by intervening in a war that is not of his making and is leading his small army against huge odds. His opponents are aided by the Ancuman, powerful warriors from a distant place called Kishdah, who are guided by a mad Goddess who is seeking to conquer Meshech and enslave everyone. She is taking his constant interfering extremely poorly, and what happens if you "really" upset a goddess? Thankfully, he has his slave girl, the beautiful but deadly warrior Halla, to keep him diverted and the mighty forest warrior and sage, Derryth of the Twacuman, to keep him alive. With a lopsided war to fight, more amorous women to placate, and an irate Goddess to elude, what could possibly go wrong?
