Summary
Two-time Academy Award® winner Olivia de Havilland ("To Each His Own," "The Heiress") stars in a suspenseful shocker that also features future Oscar® nominee James Caan ("The Godfather") in his first major film role. Alone in her residence over a sweltering holiday weekend, a widow (de Havilland) is accidentally trapped in her home elevator during a power failure. Her meticulous, well-organized world is shattered as the elevator, stalled nine feet above the floor, becomes a claustrophobic torture chamber -- a cage.
