What would your Olympic event be?

If you were competing in the Olympics what would be your event? How much do you know about the Olympics? Why not get some background information either online or from a book.

Wouldn’t you like to know when they started, why they only happen every four years, what country has won the most medals, how old do you have to be to compete, or what are the categories of competition? Make sure you watch some of the events and cheer on your favorites.

Singing in the Rain!

OMG…is that rain? I was so excited to hear and see all the rain coming down this morning.

It has been sooooooooooo hot that it was a welcome change to get real rain! Thoughts of Gene Kelly’s movie Singing in the Rain came to mind.

It’s a classic and man could they dance back in the day.

July is National Ice Cream Month

Did you know that this is National Ice Cream Month? What is your favorite ice cream flavor? Mine is Lemon Chiffon and Superman…yes I did say Superman. Maybe I just like having a blue tongue. Since it has been so hot and it seems that it will be staying around a little longer, why not cool off and celebrate a national celebration at the same time. I think I will get myself a Superman graphic novel and have a cone of Superman ice cream! Stay cool!
