As a librarian in Local History and Reference, I work regularly at the public service desk in each of those areas. In addition, my other major responsibilities include doing some of the selection of materials for the collection, indexing several local magazines and periodicals, doing some of the indexing of the Kalamazoo Gazette, and serving as coordinator of the Kalamazoo Area Directory of Local Organizations.
