Hi!  My name is Judy Bosshart and I am an Illinois native who moved to Kalamazoo shortly before a tornado came through in 1980 and destroyed our home.  Welcome to Michigan!!!

My husband Terry and I have been married for 38 years and have 3 grown children.  Our daughters live in Illinois and our son in Kalamazoo.  We have three delightful grandchildren who love to read and be read to.  I love to ski, practice yogatravel, play Bridge and Bunco, participate in a Book Club, visit museums, and attend the theater.

I have been a volunteer reader for the Kalamazoo Ready to Read Program since it began.  I also participate in the annual Reading Together Kalamazoo program.  Prior to moving to Michigan, I was a librarian/media specialist at a Junior High School and did substitute teaching.

Shortly after moving to Kalamazoo, I was hired by Davenport University to set up and manage the Library at the Kalamazoo location.  I have been the Library Director in Kalamazoo for almost 28 years.  I love to teach and love to learn.  Reading has always been a big part of my life and I enjoy sharing the gift with the children at KCMS.  My favorite time is when the children read to me!!
