Party in the Park

Ready to Read celebrates nationally recognized “Stand for Children Day” every year with a community story hour. The goal of the event is to focus community attention on the fun and importance of sharing books with young children.

Community Awareness

All preschoolers in Kalamazoo County are invited to Bronson Park to hear stories read by local community leaders and costumed story book characters. Each child receives a box of animal crackers, juice box, and gift book courtesy of Kalamazoo Public Library.
