Autism and Me and Autism Is a World: Films by Youn
In his award-winning short film, Autism and Me, Rory Hoy, an 18-year-old British filmmaker with autism, describes the impact of autism on everyday functioning using easy, accessible language. In Autism Is a World, Sue Rubin tells of her journey through a misdiagnosis of mental retardation, to learning to communicate using a keyboard, to her current enrollment as a junior in college.
