Francois Truffaut's 1966 film, followed by panel discussion
Kalamazoo College, Light Fine Arts Bldg.
Panel includes:
James Sanford, Kalamazoo Gazette film reviewer.
Sanford also appears weekly on WWMT Channel 3, WKFR FM,
WKMI AM, and the Michigan Talk Radio Network, and
teaches feature writing at Western Michigan University.
Mike Marchak, Kalamazoo Film Society president. A
KFS board member since 1992 and president since 1996,
Marchak also serves as treasurer and on the KFS
selection committee.
Steve Lipkin, Communication professor, WMU. An
expert on film and mass communication theory, Lipkin has
published a number of articles on the use of docudrama
to depict history.
Greg Smith, English assistant professor, WMU.
Smith specializes in American literature and film. He
regularly includes Fahrenheit 451 in his American
Literature course curriculum.
