Remembering a Legend
Screen legend Paul Newman had a very successful career as an award-winning actor but was widely known also for his charitable work as a philanthropist, a champion for civil rights during the 1960’s, and all around stand up guy by all accounts. If you’ve never had the pleasure of watching one of the great many films in his oeuvre, let me recommend several that are big screen classics certain to leave you smiling, crying or maybe even both. “The Hustler”, “Hud”, “Cat On a Hot Tin Roof”, “Cool Hand Luke”, “Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid”, “The Sting”, and “Nobody’s Fool”. Newman passed away over the weekend at age 83.
